I personally upgraded to premium but that was my personal choice. You do not have to do that but their is a difference in basic and premium membership which is only $14.95 for a year but you get that back in one month with all the great ads they have. The biggest difference is at premium you can cash out once you hit $8.00 I love the site because they always have paid to click ads coming in.
They even have a toolbar (which I downloaded so has been tested and is safe) to let you know when you have a new ad to click on.
